Last week during Flag Football, it was mentioned that many players in the league would like to see a 30 and older league separate from the current league. Basically, they want to break it up so they can stop being pummeled by the 'kids' in the league (18+ league). My first reaction was 'I don't know if we will find enough 18-29 year olds who want to play to have a league.' I got sad because I am enjoying playing, and I didn't want to be left out. My next thought was 'Oh my gosh, I will be 30 next season.' I felt that deep sense sadness of being included with the 'old guys' gives you. I smiled and laughed at myself though. I can't believe I will be thirty soon!
